My Journey
Four years into my career as a designer, I realized I was more energized by helping multiple designers solve different problems than solving one problem myself.
I loved the breakthrough moment when I helped someone see things differently and we arrived at an idea neither of us could have done alone.
So in 2007 I pivoted to leading design teams the way only a trained designer can. And I've never looked back.
One Common Thread
I've built or led design teams at BuzzFeed, The New York Times, DirecTV, Dish, Capital One, Ticketmaster, and AXS — companies in a period of rapid growth, or strategic transformation.
The thread? Great people, a desire to make a difference, and passion for the work.
Today, I lead designers and researchers while building expertise in how AI can transform design organizations by making them stronger, more strategic, and more effective.
Beyond Work: I’m Always Making Something
I'm naturally curious and I'm always learning, whether that's building personal AI automations or trying a new cooking technique. I’m also super nostalgic. I collect vinyl records, rewatch the same films, and collect things that matter to me.
I always have personal projects going. They typically revolve around travel, music, photography, design, and food.
Record Collection
"They're not for everyone, you know? You really have to take care of vinyl. It's very delicate, it can get wrecked so easily. You really have to love it."
— Seeking a Friend for the End of the World
This line perfectly sums up why I love vinyl. Vinyl forces you to pay attention to the music. You get about 20 minutes before you need to flip it over, delicately. And the cover art is big and beautiful.
I have over 500 vinyl records spanning from the 1930s to today.
Photography
I shoot mostly when I travel - street photography, nature and wildlife, and live music when I can.

Travel
My husband and I typically visit 5-6 countries a year. I love experiencing new cultures, styles, customs, landscapes, food, and different languages. Everything about it.
Other Passions
In 2025 I wrote a screenplay and made a Lookbook for it. Later that year I started another one - I'll finish it one day.
I have a newspaper collection.
I also make time to mentor early-career designers navigating this industry.
